Suffolk County Swimming Pools, Splendor Landscaping

The changing of a liner includes a visual inspection of the walls to make sure all walls are structurally sound.  This is done to help insure that the pool walls do not collapse when the water is drained.  All the water is then drained from pool and pumped to a lower elevation area.  At this point, the entire liner is then removed, including face plates and gaskets.  If necessary, supply and install additional sand and retrowel the entire bottom of pool.  During this process, inspect and clear all debris and roots, inspect sand, and treat all walls for rust or sharp concrete (on concrete wall pools).  Supply and install foam padding if necessary.  Install new liner with gaskets and face plates. During this process, change any and all extrusion track or rim lock coping that need to be changed.  Using an air vacuum, remove excess air from behind liner to ensure snug fit while new pool water is being filled. Once pool is ¾ filled and cutouts are done, which is the removal of excess liner panels from skimmer and returns.  The pool is then filled to desired level, start filter & swim!
